Hi! I was inspired to create a blog where I can post my thoughts on Bible verses as a devotional journal that hopefully may refresh everyone who takes their time to read it, reflect on it and “reapply” it in their daily life. Even as we take heed and continue to mediate on His Word throughout the day or week, may His Word take effect in our hearts and experience His Word to be practically true in every daily life issues.
I believe wholeheartedly that as we dare to be faithful to trust and obey His Word in our lives, He will be faithful to see that we experience the truth, power and wisdom of His Word as promised in Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Another reason which inspired me to create this devotional blog was to share, teach and educate people on various issues of this world according to His Word. I believe without His Word as the ultimate truth and authoritative standard, nothing can help us Christians to discern right from wrong, good from evil, godly from ungodly, biblical from unbiblical, acceptable from unacceptable of various life issues in this post-modern world where everything is subjective and truth has been marred by the lack of knowledge of His Word. Thus causing many Christians to live ignorant lifestyle in conformity to the world and not to the Word of God. We are in the world but not of the world.
The worst part is that we, Christians who should know the Word and truth, fail to share, teach and exemplify to another about His truth as we lack knowledge of His Word or lack knowledge of how to answer to life questions. What hope does our dear non-believer friend have if we fail to answer and help them to know His life liberating truth?
Thus I would commit my best to post weekly reflection and answer to various faith and life related questions to help us grow in knowledge of His Word. Please feel free to comment and ask me related questions that you need an answer to. It would be my privilege and joy to be of help to anyone seeking His truth in this marred world. We need to be careful not to casually believe everything we know from this world but to test/conquer them according to His Word and also always be ready to share it gently and respectfully to our friends that they too may conquer life issues with His Word and live life abundantly in Christ.
